Simply Steps: A City Steps Tour of Troy Hill and Spring Garden

While Pittsburgh is commonly known as the “City of Bridges,” it also tops the charts in the number of public city steps. With over 800 stairways throughout many of its 90 neighborhoods, these “paper streets” can be a fun place to explore. Join Laura Zurowski, the creator and publisher of MisSteps.com: Our Missed Connections with Pittsburgh’s City Steps, on a stairway adventure through the neighborhoods of Troy Hill and Spring Garden. You’ll learn about the history of this special form of pedestrian travel, and two neighborhoods that played essential roles in the city’s early economic development.

Hosted by Walk the Burgh ToursSimply Steps will take place on Sundays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm from June 20 to July 18.
