SkyWatch: A Dazzling Night of Stargazing and Planetarium Fun

Come to the Buhl Planetarium and Observatory for fall stargazing and out-of-this-world fun during October’s SkyWatch. During this month’s SkyWatch, the Orionid meteor shower will be visible to the naked eye across a large area of the sky. Visitors can also expect to see a waxing gibbous Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Uranus.

The evening kicks off with a virtual tour of the night sky in Buhl Planetarium. Afterward, visitors are welcome to enjoy additional planetarium programs, and if the skies are clear, you will head up to the observatory to use the 16-inch telescope and chat with the planetarium staff.

The October SkyWatch will be held on Saturday, October 20 at 7:00 pm, and again at 9:00 pm at Buhl Planetarium and Observatory. SkyWatch happens rain or shine. For more details, visit the SkyWatch event page.
