Have you been looking for a way to start your weekend off with some snacks, drinks and meaningful conversation? If so, you are invited to join in for The Stoop with Soul (and a little splash of Social Justice). The Social Justice aspect will take the form of some letter writing to legislators to work towards an end to gun violence and for just and fair laws for the LGBTQ community. Or simply sit with others in friendship and enjoy some refreshments.
Stoop with Soul will be held at 5:30 pm, on Friday, June 24, at the Unitarian House behind Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church, located at the corner of West North Avenue and Resaca Place. If you can’t make it to the Stoop but would still like to participate in the letter-writing campaign, contact Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church.
