Join Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh in the Art Studio of the Children’s Museum as they embark on their next Community Outreach Project, Pop des Fleurs. Pop des Fleurs is an outdoor installation planned for the winter of 2016, designed to bring delight and color during the dark season through handmade, pop-up flower gardens. Pop des Fleurs will be created by the community and made primarily out of repurposed materials!
On Sunday, January 25. come to the Art Studio of the Children’s Museum as flowers are made for the first installation of Pop des Fleurs. To participate, BYOB! Bring your own bags, that is! All flowers will be made out of colorful, recycled bags. The brighter the better! There will be some bags on-hand ready to use, but the Children’s Museum is accepting donations.
