Sunday Morning Yoga Under Alphabet City Tent

Come to City of Asylum each Sunday this summer for a soulful yoga class under the Alphabet City Tent. Wake up, move, and get into your body with this 75-minute soul activating yoga practice. Set to music, this yoga class is a mix of the Baron Baptiste’s Vinyasa (power yoga Flow) style with a healthy dose of yin (restorative yoga) that is sure to ignite the fire within, leave you breathless, and move the soul.

The class will be taught by Paco Mahone, Northside resident and Pittsburgh-based yoga instructor. He will be assisted by Sarah Ann Smyth, also a Pittsburgh-based yoga instructor.

Paco believes that no matter ones age, through a yoga practice one has an opportunity to connect deeply to the soul and self. No experience is necessary. Come with an open mind and interest in moving the body. All that participants need to bring is a yoga mat and towel. For more information about the Sunday Morning Yoga sessions, or to RSVP, view City of Asylum’s Calendar, call 412-323-0278, or email info@cityofasylumpittsburgh.org.
