Get your wish list and cameras ready! Santa and his penguin helpers are coming to the National Aviary! On the four Saturdays before Christmas, visitors will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa AND a penguin!
Santa will be meeting visitors between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Kids visiting Santa can also make and take home a Penguin Pine Cone ornament!
While at the National Aviary, plan to take advantage of all the Wings in Winter activities: arrive at 10:00 am and see the new Snow Owls! Join the popular Wetlands feeding at 10:30, and then see the holiday free-flight show at 11:00 am. Gather in Penguin Point for a special Wings in Winter “Nutcracker” bird appearance at 11:30! Afternoon activities include the holiday free-flight show at 1:30 pm, the Wetlands feeding at 2:00 pm, and a new favorite, a bat feeding at 3:30 pm. Don’t forget to visit the National Aviary’s Northside Pole in the new Condor Court!
Photos with Santa and his Penguin Helpers will be held on Saturdays, November 28 and December 5, 12 and 19, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the National Aviary. For more information, visit the Photos with Santa event page.
