Teens: Learn Silkscreen Printing

Youth Open Studio, a drop-in teen program, is up and running every Wednesday night from 4:00 until 8:00 pm! A collaboration of the Andy Warhol Museum and Artists Image Resource (AIR), educators from both organizations supervise a cohort of teen shop techs that teach silkscreen printing to middle and high school students. Your child can learn photographic silkscreen printing for the first time, or improve upon learned printmaking skills. All youth are welcome!

Artists Image Resource is an artist-run, non-profit printmaking facility located in neighboring Deutschtown. AIR’s purpose is to integrate the creation of fine art print work with innovative educational programs that explore the role of the artist in contemporary culture.

The Youth Open Studio will be held at the Artists Image Resource facility located at 518 Foreland Street. For more information, visit the Youth Open Studio event page or email heatwhite@gmail.org.
