The New Hazlett Theater is more than just a building. It’s an incubator for artists. The Theater embraces a broad range of artists and arts organizations, hosting diverse audiences and encouraging the success of Pittsburgh’s performing arts community. In addition, it creates an energetic arena for arts events and community dialogue in its Northside neighborhood and beyond.
Rushing Horizons
Friday, March 23 to Sunday, March 25
With each new day comes a new horizon to remind us of the beauty of the present and the promise of growth in the future. Texture Contemporary Ballet takes the stage to celebrate the art of contemporary ballet, while continuing to grow and push boundaries in its ability, style, and presence.
A special children’s performance of Rushing Horizons will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 4:00 pm. This performance is geared for ages 0-12, but all ages are welcome! This is a great way to expose your young children to dance, when you aren’t sure of their reaction or ability to sit still.
