City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue, is the permanent home for City of Asylum programming and the arts. Get ready for an evening of jazz with Tomchess & Bandit Hat. NYC based multi-instrumentalist, improviser, and composer, Tomchess has played and recorded with some of the heaviest players in the improvisational and Jazz scene. Featured musicians are Tomchess (Oud, Ney, Morsing, Composer), Ravi Padmanabha (Tabla, Percussion, Morsing), Will McEvoy (Accoustic Bass), and special guest Mimi Jong (Erhu).
