Come to the Tripoli Street Bake Off + Potluck

Join the Tripoli Street BakeClub for a bake-off competition on Sunday, June 26, at 2:00 pm. Afterwards stay around for a pot luck meal to celebrate!

To enter, bake up your best wild yeast or sourdough treat and bring it to the Tripoli Street BakeYard at  2:00 pm. The public judging will start at 2:30 pm and a winner will be declared at 3:00 pm. BakeClub members will be firing up the oven, and Wigle Whisky will be giving out free samples! 

The Tripoli Street Bake Off + Potluck is a project of artist Michelle Illuminato, through Neu Kirche Contemporary Art Center‘s Fallow Grounds for Sculpture. This event will be held in the Tripoli Street BakeYard, located in the lot at the corner of Tripoli Street and Chestnut Street in neighboring Deutschtown. Fallow Grounds for Sculpture is an annual summer public arts initiative activating vacant lots in Northside community of East Deutschtown with innovative projects that re-imagine Pittsburgh’s blighted areas.The projects begin in June and remain on-site through to October 31.
