During the performance of Unleashed Emotions, explore joy, desire, passion and rebirth in this exciting show of both old and new works by choreographers Alan Obuzor and Kelsey Bartman. Bartman premieres a new ballet, using the music of Olafur Arnalds, Patrick Wolfe, Ludovico Einaudi and others. Obuzor, inspired by the music of late artist Eva Cassidy, will present a new piece sure to stir feelings in all who watch it.
Two past pas de deuxs will return to the stage, one being Hydroplaning Flower, last performed two years ago. Also, Another Story, depicting the journey of how a relationship became broken.
Presented by Texture Contemporary Ballet, Unleashed Emotions will be performed at the New Hazlett Theater from Friday, March 20 to Sunday, March 22. Performances on Friday and Saturday will be at 8:00 pm. Sunday matinee will begin at 2:00 pm.
