National Aviary‘s Ornithologist, Bob Mulvihill, is ready to share his decades of experience to help new and seasoned birders experience birds in a new way during the Aviary’s Virtual Birding events. The next Virtual Birding event’s topic is “Bird Nests: Avian Architecture Amazes.”
Birds’ nests range from tiny to huge, and from plain-and-simple to extraordinarily complex and ornate. The Virtual Birding program will introduce you to the fascinating variety of bird nests, and the intricate techniques and diverse materials birds use to create these safe places to lay their eggs and rear their young.
Virtual Birding with Bob Mulvihill will be held on Wednesday, March 10 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. For more information, or to purchase your ticket, visit the March 10th Virtual Birding with Bob Mulvihill event page. Space is limited, and registration is required.
