Are you interested in learning how to code? Carnegie Library‘s Virtual On-Ramp to Python is a free introduction for individuals who are comfortable using a computer but have no previous programming experience. Python is a widely used, general purpose programming language.
The classes will cover the fundamentals of coding including variables, conditionals, loops, lists, and functions. Participants will complete programming topics using an online learning website for Python and also meet virtually for six consecutive Tuesdays. Virtual meetings will include time for review, questions, exercises, and live instructor coding.
This free six-week course will meet for six evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on Tuesdays: February 16 and 23, March 2, 9, 16, and 23. For more information, visit the Virtual On Ramp to Python: A Six Week Introduction to Coding event page.
