Welcoming Pittsburgh Community Discussion Wants Your Input

Welcoming Pittsburgh wants to build a city of neighbors and that starts WITH YOU! The Office of Mayor Peduto invites community members to play a role in continually advancing Pittsburgh as a more vibrant and inclusive place for all!

Welcoming Pittsburgh is working with community members, first responders, police and other city departments to build a proactive and community-driven approach to serve our immigrant and refugee communities. Come to one or more Welcoming Pittsburgh Community Discussions to learn more about their goals and projects, and to give your input. Welcoming Pittsburgh wants to hear what your concerns are about community/law enforcement relationships, safe spaces in schools, and communication/language access so the City of Pittsburgh can better serve you!

The first Community Discussion will be held on Wednesday, May 17 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at City of Asylum @ Alphabet City, located at 40 West North Avenue. For more details, including additional meeting dates and locations, visit the Welcoming Pittsburgh Community Discussion event page. Light refreshments will be served.
