Youth Cook: Roasted Roots

On Wednesday, December 10, your child will take a dive into the bounty of the root cellar during Youth Cook: Roasted Roots – roasting carrots, beets, parsnips, and more. In addition to learning about these winter staples, participants will prepare an herb-roasted veggie medley that will send their taste buds on a vacation. The Youth Cook: Roasted Roots event will take place from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm.

Please note that both of these Youth Program events are evening events and are ticketed separately from regular Museum admission. Parents are not required to attend. Participants must be at least 10 years old.

Tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the Children’s Museum until the start of the event or by calling 412-322-5058 ext 240. Space is limited, so make your reservation soon.

This program is sponsored by the Hive Fund for Connected Learning at The Sprout Fund. The Hive Learning Network supports connected learning experiences that prepare tweens, teens, and young adults for college, the workforce, and civic participation.
