Brighten up your winter with a fun and colorful exploration of natural plant dyes! During Youth Grow: Plant Dyes, participants will work with sustainable artist and maker, Rebecca Harrison of Fibers and Sustainability. You can hand dye your very own t-shirt using common items such as onion peels, avocado pits, and blackberries.
Youth Grow: Plant Dyes will be held at the Children’s Museum on Saturday, March 14, from 10:30 am until 12:00 pm. Buy your Youth Grow tickets online, by calling 412-322-5058 ext. 240, or at the front desk during regular Museum hours. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. Participants must be at least 10 years old.
