Youth Make is a casual after-hours program for youth ages 10 to 15 years old. Youth Make allows participants to experience MAKESHOP with friends, without parents or younger siblings. A wide variety of activities are available at each monthly event, facilitated by MAKESHOP Teaching Artists who guide and assist their exploration of the space and activities.
During the March Youth Make event, participants will be exploring natural materials – wood, wool, plant dyes – and their potential for weaving, felting, book binding, and more. They will also have less natural materials to work with, like batteries and hot glue, for other projects they may have in mind.
Youth Make: Natural Materials will be held on Friday, March 18 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the Children’s Museum. For more information about Youth Make: Natural Materials, visit the Youth Make event page. Price includes snacks and all activities. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Children’s Museum during regular museum hours.
