Did you know that North Side residents can conveniently pick up fresh locally grown grocery products all year round? The Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance Farm Stand makes a stop in the North Side at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, 10 Children’s Way, between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. every other Monday throughout the year. The next drop-off date available for orders is Monday, April 21.
Shoppers can order fresh products, such as meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, eggs, and grains products, that are available from local farmers. Once a shopper pre-orders the products they wish to purchase, Penn’s Corner Farm Alliance will collect from local farmers what has been ordered and bring the items to the Children’s Museum. Be sure that you pre-order the items before going to the Children’s Museum.
You can get more information on ordering by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or by viewing the Farm Stand Buying Club website.
