At the ACCA General Membership Meeting on November 10, James Pastorius shared his plans to develop 506-508 West North Avenue as a modern living and creative space.
James Pastorius is the founder of Savage Visual Effects – a nationally recognized, visual effects firm based in Pittsburgh. A resident of the Mexican War Streets since spring of this year, James would like to use this property as his home and as a home for his small business. In addition, James wants to create a space that will engage the community and bring life the property.
The project will consist of two phases. Phase 1 will focus on the restoration of the exterior of the property to meet all historic preservation standards, and the creation of new work space in the warehouse portion. Phase 2 will renovate the residential side of the property into modern living spaces. Phase 1 is expected to begin in January of 2015, Phase 2, shortly after.
