National Night Out 2016

National Night Out 2016To celebrate National Night Out 2016, Allegheny City Central Association is planning a free, family-friendly Street Party on Tuesday, August 2, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. This year, activities will take place at multiple locations on Jacksonia Street: Alpine Parklet, Mattress Factory, and Randyland.

Turn on your porch light, and then head out to join your neighbors at Mattress Factory‘s Parking Lot at 6:00 pm for the start of a fun evening of conversation, food, and lots of activities for the kids. There will be plenty of hot dogs and ice cream, in addition to food trucks.  At 7:00 pm, participants will join together to walk to Randyland to continue the National Night Out celebration.

Several organizations have generously made donations for the raffle that will be held during National Night Out. A bicycle, helmet, backpacks, school supplies, and Aviary tickets will be raffled off during the evening at Randyland.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Let’s show what a tremendous neighborhood we have by celebrating this night together as neighbors and friends!
