On Earth Day 2017, 18 amazing volunteers along with Jeff, Joe and Ben from the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy planted 16 trees in our neighborhood. It took about 2 1/2 hours, but working in teams, the time went by quickly. By noon, the volunteers were enjoying their much-deserved lunch.

Allegheny City Central Association would like to express a sincere THANK YOU to all those who generously gave their time and effort to help, and to the owners of these new trees who will tend to them from now on.
