As part of Allegheny City Historic Gallery‘s “Lost Northside Neighborhood Reunions” series, they will be hosting a reunion of Beaver Avenue in Northside’s 21st Ward. This neighborhood was uprooted to accommodate the construction of Interstate 19 and State Road 65.
If you lived on Beaver Avenue, Columbus Avenue, Chateau Street, Seymour Street, Preble Avenue, Liverpool Street, Franklin Street, Juniata Street, Warner Street, Adams Street, Magnolia Street, Metropolitan Street, Pennsylvania Avenue, Laurel Street, or Roalman Street, this reunion is for you!
