Experience the enchantment of the National Aviary at nighttime and decorated for the holidays! At National Aviary at Night, visitors have an opportunity for nighttime bird watching. Purchase a seasonal nightcap from the cash bar and grab some fare from Atria’s Kookaburra Kitchen before experiencing the night’s sights and sounds. Exhibits include the ever-popular Penguin Point, where 16 African penguins bray, swim and waddle into your heart; and the newer Canary’s Call that brings the colorful bird’s history to life while offering an up-close view of the Malayan Flying Fox.
National Aviary at Night is held every third Thursday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm. Guests must be 21 and over. The next scheduled National Aviary at Night event will be held on Thursday, December 18, This is a free event for members. The cost to non-members is half the price of daytime admission.
