Irene Bauer, a neighbor on Sherman Avenue, has taken the reins for Allegheny City Central Association’s Welcome, Neighbor to Neighbor program. The Welcome, Neighbor to Neighbor program sends volunteers out to personally greet new residents and provide them with a welcome packet that includes orientation material, coupons from local businesses, and other goodies.
