On behalf of the board of the Allegheny City Central Association, we wish you all a happy and healthy year ahead. I am excited to start work on implementing a new vision statement that represents a new direction for ACCA. It is our hope that we can establish a pattern of community wide events, as well as foster activities that bring neighbors together, so that we might truly embody the tagline for the Allegheny City Central neighborhood, All Together. Welcome New ACCA Board Members

At the May 11 General Membership Meeting, ACCA members voted unanimously to elect seven residents to the board of directors. Those newly elected will serve a two-year term and join eight board members whose terms run through May 2016. Congratulations and thanks for stepping forward to serve our community.

ACCA Requests a Stop Work Order for Dollar Tree

Allegheny City Central Association

Dollar Tree has purchased the former Family Dollar property at 1516 Brighton Road and construction is underway to renovate the building and parking lot. The site plan has raised concerns for neighbors including deliveries being made between midnight and 4 AM through the neighborhood on Jacksonia Street, and a new curb cut onto Cameo Way.

At the Allegheny City Central Association general membership meeting on Monday, May 11, 2015, members will vote for individuals to fill open positions on the board of directors.
